It's that time again where I'm wanting to change my car, but I'm stuck for choice.
I have a budget of around 16k and can't make my mind up between the z4m coupe or the boxster s.

Having driven both I love both! So I'm looking for anyone who may have owned one of them or maybe both to share there experiences.

A cayman s would be a nice compromise however a little out of budget I think.

Help please!

were the best 2 I could find. Much easier to find threads on Google than the the search function here.

easily the z4m for many reasons, mainly that the 3.2 straight 6 in this and other m-cars (including the csl) is one of the greatest engines ever produced

OP, I had a similar conundrum to you and in the end went a totally different route (rep mobile and motorbike), but the Z4MC edged things when put back to back with a Cayman and SLK55. I wanted a hard top so didn't consider the Boxster S (and couldn't stretch to a Cayman S), but the Cayman felt sublime, if a little tame, the 55 brutal but with an aggravating 'box and the Z4MC wild and a little twitchy...

im in the middle of buying a z4m. have owned a 3.2S boxster (987) in the past and it was great as an every day, i couldnt put my finger on it, but it never quite seemed exciting to drive, although it was fairly quick. For a weekend steer which is what i am after at the moment, i wanted something more interesting and challenging to drive. the Z4M fits that bill nicely in my opinion.
