What to do with surplus new and used car parts?!

Evening all!

For my thousandth post ( - awaiting my nobel piece prize) I am looking for practical advice on what people do with car parts they don't need! For example I looked in my garage before and found:

Anyone use any other methods, e.g. selling a few items together to a parts specialist or do we all have garages and driveways full of old rubbish!

There's no easy way. It's essentially ebay or the skip!

Don't waste time cleaning things just take some photos and do short listings - with a firm insistence that "buyer pays in full immediately on close of auction and collects within 7 days, failing which the item will be disposed elsewhere". IMO it gives the best balance between the skip and undue hassle.

Seriously, I sold the contents of our garage on ebay in its entirety. Just listed a couple of the better bits and said collect the lot.

Got about £47 for it all and got the garage cleared for free!

I think I will do that for a couple of the more valuable items and see what happens, everybody likes a good bargain!

How big is your garage that you've "found" these things?
