Friend just sent me a snap. Anyone know what the car is? I've cropped the image & it isn't the greatest quality!

My initial thought was Astra Mk 2 GSI 16v. Not so sure now.

Not much to go on but the shape of the rear windscreen and the top of the boot shouts this at me.

Bottom of the number plate recess is more rounded in the OPs photo...

Saab 9-3 looks like a good guess... My initial thought was an MG ZT (It looks like X-Power Grey), but the shapes aren't right.

Saab 9-3 is possible. For some reason though Merc CLC (pre facelift) sprang to mind.

Well spotted, I'd agree with it being a Saab after seeing a coulpe of pics, similar proportions though.
