How to stop cats clambering on your car?

Bit of an issue with my gf's cat, lil bh seems to like climbing up on my bonnet just after ive driven it it as its very warm. It once managed to put many scratches on the bonnet and wing when it slipped and clawed it trying to stop itself.
Although i managed to rotor them out it'll do some proper damage soon and i cba with it as the paint is very good.

Any easy suggestions? And before you say, shooting it is not an option!

Setting fire to the car normally stops cat from climbing on the car

Dress up like an old lady and dump it in a bin, with no CCTV about, then calmly walk away and tell her it's gone missing!
Better still, tell her that per today's newspaper reports that all cats make you schizophrenic and cause dementia, and they all have to be culled!
I knew all cat owners were mad!

Make use of the cars resources, a bowl of antifreeze placed next to your car should do the trick.

Get a lemon smelling wax, cats hate lemon
Or one of those noise things that keep cats away and keep it on a low setting?

Not only will this stop the cat from going on the car, it will kill the cat.
