Hi Guys

My friend runs a Cinema Heritage group and has asked if I can identify the truck below and its dates of manufacture, which was used as a mobile cinema in Ireland in the early 1900s, as it will help him date the picture.

Anyone know? Someone thought it might be a Stanley?

Sorry the picture is inverted but it's beyond my IT skills to sort it.

The gauntlet has been thrown smile

The fact it has 'Stanley Steamer' on the radiator may offer a clue.

Looks like a Straker Squire.

I would say it's early 20s.

Thanks guys - I will do a bit of research on Straker Squires.

Good to hear from you again, Funk. Ahhh, I remember the excitement when we were waiting for our 123ds to be delivered smile

Doesn't match the Straker Squire naming style though.

And you, chap. I miss that 1er, it was a good, fun car to drive. I'm about a week away from picking up a 328i convertible and I'm rather excited by that to be honest! smile
