I thought most cars now would warn you if the bonnet is open? Sure My CLS Merc did.

The light coming on erroneously is a common problem at, er, 70mph in a 550.

Should be standard on cars that have door/boot sensors for sure!

My BMW didn't have it, luckily you have that little catch to protect it though
