I want to see if we can kick start a thread and try to compile it with a picture of every V8 car EVER produced...

To make this more interesting there will be 2 simple rules!!

1. It has to be your own car
2. 2 pictures of each car should be uploaded at the same time. 1st of the engine bay, 2nd of the whole car!

(Extra points if the 2nd pic is your V8 doing a burn out)

GOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun/ interesting thread potential, but I honestly don't expect every V8 car produced to have had pictures (as you describe) taken of it. I also suspect that not every V8 car made is still in existance.

I wonder how many V8 cars have been made.

Well, not strictly a car, and was never originally produced with a V8, but it's been fitted with a 350ci/5.7 V8...

Soon to be dressed up with these...

I'm currently on my 3rd 8 cylinder, but sadly just realised I rarely photograph engines. Modern ones are covered in plastick so not all that exciting to look at IMO.
Could take a pic of the W8 at the next opportunity, but the C43 is long gone by now.

Ooooh, also, this hateful P.O.S.

I'd have another in an instant.

I love the variety of engine bays so far.

BMW = Plastic Cover
Maserati = Lovely piece of sculpture
TVR = Ummm. Stuff.

However only one of those will probably actually work when you get up in the morning. Shame it's the one that won't be on your driveway! laugh

Well the TVR and Range Rover have already been posted, so I guess I'll contribute the V8 I'm about to sell - a Rover P6 3500 - a hilarious, characterful old thing! smile

Lucky enough to have a choice of 5 V8's at the moment, but this is 'the one'. 600bhp of Hennessey LS3.

A couple of thousand different models listed here

Car Folio

from 218 different manufacturers, so more than two thousand anyway.

We had the original VXR up there ^ - now the later model (mine) with the LS2 - unfortunately it's mostly plastic.
