Is this so they can sell more school playing fields, free open parks and the rest of the sensible places that kids should really be playing in/on?

I think it could affect their attitude to road safety much sooner than that - i.e. when they start playing outside the designated streets and/or designated times....

Still loads playing in my street, people drive slower and keep an eye out for them and funnily enough there are no squished kids about!

What's different about the swansea street they need to close it?
(obviously theyre not going to trial it on a 'main' road or however its defined)
