After all but taking home a gtr, i decided last minute that a 360 was well worth the extra cash.
so I'm on the brink of buying and will be taking one home in the next 2-4 months. But icant help but keep coming Back to the predecessor, the f355s. I havent had a chance to get out for a long drive in both but im not expecting To love either over the other massively! Both are rosso, cream interior, roughly the same pace, price and beauty to me so im stuck..
More just out of interest i guess, which one would you presonally go for, and why??

355 looks more butch - the 360 is a bit more 'jellymould' in shape. At the same time, the 360 has aged better I think, the 355 does look considerably older.
However, if I were in the fortunate position to be making such a decision, the appearance of the 355 would tickle my fancy more...

Yep. Has to be the 355 IMO, the 360 just didn't have quite the same "right-ness" about the design, at the front end anyway.
Also, for some reason I can't quite explain, the 355 is a bit more classic: To me, the 360 was the first of a new styling direction whereas the 355 was the last of the line which included the 308 and 328. Just my opinion, of course (and will hopefully be getting a 355 in the not too distant...)

Good Evo article from a while back that compares the v8 ferraris from 308 to 458 and those in-between. I found it a really good read and would help you if you can find it.
The 355 is prettier though.
There is, and it's rather interesting to read:The 355 is prettier though.

I've always preferred the design of the 355 over the 360, although I'm starting to warm to the latter a lot more now. Never driven either, but reading that Evo report it could be the 360 that's a better buy for driving pleasure.
Either way, drive both and take your pick. I envy the choice!

Agree with this. I love the look and noise of the 355 but the ones I have been in felt very fragile whereas the 360 felt comparatively modern and much more solid. I think the 360 is ageing well. Classic or modern then, both great cars.
