I have several:

Rally: Group A Lancia Delta Integrale (Martini colours) and "blob-eye" Subaru Impreza (like mine)!

Touring cars: Sierra RS500 Cosworth (Texaco colours) and the Old Spice Alfa 155

GT cars: McLaren F1 (Gulf colours) and Aston Martin DBR9

Not really into single seaters but probably an early 1980s JPS Lotus F1 car if I had to choose one.

What is/are your favourite racing car(s)?

This thread needs pics.

This thing has it all, 5 cylinder howl, cool livery and it's from the golden era of BTCC.

And purely on looks..

FW14b or maybe BGP001, a toss-up between those two. I think the Brawn just edges it for me right now, might be Nigel's car tomorrow.

Another vote for the 155 from the 90's BTCC. Saw Gabriele Tarquini testing at Oulton Park before the season started (the season with the "wings" argument) and the car looked beautiful.

Looks good from all sorts of angles....

I never knew the S40 BTCC car had a 5 pot engine. So you do learn something every day!

Yeah kind of cheeky considering the production versions were all 4pots - TWR and Volvo were always good at bending the rules in BTCC

Now that's a racing car. None of this modern stuff with electronic aids and p.a.s. and crap.

Rally: Delta S4 (Bugeye Impreza just behind it)

GT Car:

LMP/Group C: Peugeot 905 Evo

Single-seater: FW14b - not because it was a winner, but because the technology in it was so bafflingly advanced for the time, a real technical masterpiece. The Brawn BGP001 has to take 2nd, simply because it was such a dirty hacked-together car at the last minute that won a championship.
