Presumably they think the good people of Surrey have more money than sense? Frequent drivers know of course that motorway service stations charge 10p per litre more (prices accurate yesterday Warwick Sainsburys vs Warwick services!)

Personally I use Tomtom live services to find my diesel...

I'm on a fuel card - we get charged a fixed amount wherever I fill up.

I think that says it all really. The oil multis are cynical, robbing tw*ts, but the real thieves are the governments that tax fuel so highly, the same here in Germany, and the rest of Europe too.

Shell, with all their experience in petrol locations throughout the UK (and the world), and all the preparation they'd have done in planning this site seemingly got it so wrong, when some blokes on the internet who know nothing about it could have just solved their questions for them.

It is the biggest in the UK because it will be (one of) the busiest in the UK.
