Roads you avoid

I've started to get uncomfortable using two roundabouts near me and am actively going out of my way to avoid them. For anyone who knows they are junction 31 where the M25/A13 meet at Lakeside and junction 28 Brook St for M25/A12. Both of them seem to have a layout that forces people to keep changing lanes to your left if you want to end up in the right place for your exit. Some people do this and others just stick in one lane and ignore the road markings and people seem to constantly be merging into the side of each other. I go in the right lane to start with for my exit and change as marked but most people don't and the number of near misses makes me think that one day there is going to be a crash. Is this just me or does anyone else avoid certain road features and if anyone knows where I mean have you ever noticed it?

I avoid as much as possible most of the main roads in Notts and Derbyshire since the powers that be have slapped 50mph limits and SPECS cameras on them.

Just more excuse to use the interesting roads.

I wonder what that will do to accident statistics

Yes - A dual-carriage way probably couple of miles long, pretty much straight with a 40 limit.
Boring and fairly tempting to 'bend the limit'

I would rather go the longer way via the country lanes.

This I'll also avoid M1 junction 27 as that would mean going through the choke point that is annesley

I try and avoid any roads with speed bumps, and especially those with speed cushions.

I like to slow down and go with one wheel over speed cushions to save my inner tyres from wear, and to preserve the suspension geometry. 99% of other road users don't seem to give a hoot and instead speed over them and glue themselves to your back bumper in those areas.

Can't think of any roads that I routinely avoid though any that had been recently top dressed would be a no-no for a week or two.

Derbyshire, as its nearly all cameras and calming measures, or just plain awful surfaces. Luckily I don't live in Derbyshire so its not much of a hardship to avoid.

Road near me past Banstead station down to Ewell,speedbumps scrape front spoiler too much.

Rather go longer way round down to Drift Bridge and along Reigate road to avoid it.

Same as Southampton then, none appear to be in sync. In Bristol I tend to avoid anything around Temple Meads, I always end up in the wrong lane or spend forever waiting for lights to change. Also any road towards Bradley Stoke as nothing good has ever come out of there, it is dull just driving through.
