Ferrari purists look away now..
Discussion
Personally I think this is great chance for someone with the balls and the cash! What I lack in the former I more than make up for with stupidity however I am lacking in sufficient of the latter to make this happen! Surely a great opportunity to buy a classic Ferrari to drive every day, at least in the summer (if dry, not this summer obviously but..) and not feel bad about it! It's also a chance to own and drive such a vehicle without a lot of the hassle & overheads of a 100% original vehicle. I wonder if anyone here agrees or if everyone will hate it?..

There was quite a period of time when 2+2 Ferraris weren't worth much at all over here, it probably blew up that V12 and this kept it from being junked. There was a 250GTE on eBay not too long ago also with a domestic V8.
P4000s are better than XWXs! Oh, and half the cost... Although they're no longer sold here (and those are probably P4000 SuperTourings anyhow; all season P4000s).
