Did anyone else follow this?

(remember the Ecomobile that was on Top Gear years ago? (now the Monotracer))

Fascinating IMO, and the Edison 2 team (which has a lot of motorsport background) seem to be progressing well with productionising their Very Light Car, it doesn't look like a total pipe dream...does it?

1 cylinder 250cc DOHC turbo, 376kg, 0.16Cd, 100mph+, 100mpg+, RWD, 4 seats.. sounds great to me.

Interesting that it wasn't an EV that won, though they are drivetrain agnostic and have done one since, this achieved 245MPGe (Leaf 99 MPGe)
