I enjoy watching a bit of Wheeler Dealers, Mike can be a little annoying at times but Edd is a brilliant mechanic and great to pick up tips from.
One thing tha always bugs me is Edd has always got his arms covered up. Usually sporting a tee shirt over a long sleeve tee shirt affair. I'm thinking maybe a skin problem or maybe some unsightly tatts (although he doesn't seem the sort) or is it just a fashion thing?

He is embarrassed about his gang tatts.

Or he is just protecting his arms from oil and other random nasties.

Maybe if Wheelers Dealers was filmed in the mid 90's.

Nothing to add I just wanted my username to appear in a thread about why a t.v mechanic wears long sleeve shirts.

The Edd Chinas Arms is the best pub I've ever been in. Every round of drinks comes with a bunch of extra stuff which isn't mentioned on the final bill.

Their budgets are ridiculous, some parts like tyres appear on cars like magic without showing on the costs at the end.

I think it is called the 'Sheldon look', he is known for his interesting t-shirts and wears them with a long sleeve underneath when it is cold.

Well it's not as if the production company wants the risk of selling cars with dodgy brakes, tyres etc is it.

And a program about replacing tyres and brake pads all the time might be just a tad dull. Wheeler Dealers has evolved quite well through its series. In the early ones Edd would be doing all sorts of strange little jobs they don't touch now.
