Ebay Problem - Possibly
Discussion
Had a worrying/threatening email an hour or so ago from someone who, i assume is in Germany, stating the following:
'Can you please tell me where is my item that i have bought from you last week? I dont know what happen, or did you forget to post it? If i will not receive it in maxim 5 days i will contact Ebay for this problem, also i will go to the local police if we will not resolve this is the meantime'.
He then gives me the following link http:
The email was from someone named Peter Achim using the email address info@gropious.de.
I have replied to this email address only to have the email rejected because the mailbox is blocked.
Now the thing is this - i dont use Ebay to sell. I buy occasionally but i dont use Ebay to sell so is he a chancer?
I have clicked on the link above on his email & it asks me to enter my user name & password which, for reasons of security & simple common sense, i have not entered.
I could not find the item when i went onto Ebay via Google so what should i do? ignore it or report the email to Ebay?

Install and run anti-malware and virus checking software or run a full system scan of both if you already have them installed.
Malwarebytes is pretty good and free.
Do it now, do not login to anywhere else before you do.
Hope it is a waste of your time and doesn't find anything - but if you (just) clicked a link you could have all sorts of nasty stuff on your PC now.
