How do we siphon fuel?
Discussion
We are trying to siphon fuel from cars' fuel tanks into containers but the filler necks have something preventing the kit that we bought from Euro Car Parts from entering the tanks.
We can't cause any damage to the cars and we don't have enough time to disconnect the fuel lines. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I'm more interested in how they stop a presumably small tube from entering the tank and stealing fuel.
Perhaps something like the plug hole in your kitchen sink, that lets fluid through but nothing else?It can move about half an inch up and down, and the fluid goes around it. But a pipe from a syphon will get stopped by it.

Are you Albanian?
No, I don't think people ship cars from the United Kingdom to Albania, I think they send them via road and therefore the rules regarding shipping cars with very little fuel in does not apply to them.Edited by Swoxy on Thursday 20th September 21:48
