New car, needs taxing

Got a new car last week and the tax runs out on it at the end of this month. How do I go about taxing it? I haven't got the V5 back yet and haven't (obviously) got the form to tax the car.

Green Slip and a Post Office...!

If you don't have the green slip you can tax it at your local DVLA office.

Had a panic I didn't have it and stupidly posted it, but alas I haven't so will be relatively easy. But thanks anyway
