Hello,

While looking for various bits of information on behalf of my brother who owns a recently restored 1984 classic mini and is considering an engine conversion in the near future I found the following video and build thread that was very inspirational. There are many suggestions around the web for the best engine to be put in a classic mini, just wondering if anyone had actually done this and if so an estimated cost of labour time not engine/mount costs etc; also which engine you fitted/results.

Anyhow, enjoy!

I believe there's a thread on that car in the readers cars section ...... also a ford cosworth powered one if mini engine conversions are of interest to you.

Cheers guys for all the help. A friend of the family (luckily) is a mini specialist. Has given a few options but said to go and research it and to get others opinions as well.

Might be in touch soon DougieMc. Thanks smile
