registration. Bangkok
price. 135,000. THB to 1JZ vvti 280 hp (it is.) gear is less than 230,000 kW are 80%. doing color pretty much new tires Magneto's BBS portable DVD player with radio JVC. owners retired government nine years, rarely used. willy-nilly. sell

The Volvo is a bit steep at 2,700 pounds sterling and I can't tell from the pics if it is a turbo or not.
My other slightly out there choice is this Escort for a more reasonable sum of 1,400 pounds sterling. Getting work done out here really is a pittance and dropping something tasty into it would really get something special I believe.

I've tried to upload the other pics of the Escort but no joy. For the rest of them look here : http://www.taladrod.com/w20/Search/CarDet3.aspx?ci...

Here is the accompanying blurb for the Escort :

1970 FORD, ESCORT 1.8 LX (4Dr).
Reds gear.
registration. Phayao
price. 68000. Baht sell classic cars ford escort and toyota 1N. well as the office in 1500 to start. Stronger and more economical car and documents + and transfer tax Act. Years 56 and driving distance.

Ah yes the turbo issue is now sorted. Many thanks for that. Am I right in thinking (that I am lazy and shoould just check Wikipedia) that the non-turbo 1JZ is around 220 bhp or am I confusing it with the 2JZ?
Also what sort of jap motor could I pop into the Escort? I think SR20's are easy to source here as are Honda civic motors. Labour charges really are ludicrously cheap so that's not even a factor.

The escort is worth a small fortune back in blighty and the Volvo is only worth about £350 back home, so I would buy the escort and when your finished with it have the road trip of a lifetime and bring the mk1 back home.
