This has been true for 60 years, but in the last 5, sales have grown significantly.

It's easy credit for folk in council houses, the amount of F430 and FFs I've seen parked in Asda during the day is simply ludicrous.

I take it you are reading that article as a true petrolhead who hates anything green and have started this poll to prove that its nothing to do with them being green as we all hate green things

I read that as they have improved performance and efficiency through technology

I guess there might be something about credit and affordability.
I regularly see Lamborghinis, Bently GTs, Audi R8s and Ferraris, compared to when I were a mere slip of a lad, they were just the things you'd see at motorshows and Athena.

Easy credit might not be the term, but buying on credit is far more acceptable.
In the 80's, you'd try to hide buying a car on the "never never", but now it is expected, otherwise the Jones's will start to talk.
