Renault and PSA in Crisis.. how do you feel ?

I hope they will go bankrupt soon.
But thats what you get, when you are building ugly or(and) slow cars combined with a average to poor reliability.

It would be a shame if they did go. I like diversity in the motorscape, even if they don't always target the (very small) enthusiast market with their models.

I would rather they didn't go pop, as the number of car manufactures for general consumption would drop even further. That cannot be a good thing.

Personally, I'd rather walk than drive one of their cars for any length of time.

Hope they don't go under, the flair they have for car design is great-if they got the execution down pat they'd do well.

Problem is French manufacturer performs well in more than a couple of market sectors- generally small cars.

The c6 for example,should have been a game changer for large luxury saloons -instead it remains a curio

Will be sad because Renault have actually had a pretty decent sports car heritage over the years. Even the Renault 5 redefined the small hatch and millions rolled of the production line. The Alpine was a classic styled motor and I really do like the new RenaultSport range including having owned the RSport Megane. I'd happily drive the 265 Cup and until you drive one on track you really can't understand how good they handle, the chassis and diff are just superb.

PSA maybe,it did cut a lot of jobs last month,shame as they appear successful to me in europe,but they sporty models leave to be desired though.

Renault i don't think so,is a large alliance with Nissan and co it may struggle like always but never go bankrupt imo,still not interested in their normal cars but the R.S brand is excellent,can't think why a petrolhead would hate them.
