wifey wants somthing like her X plate 160k polo gti 5 door without most of the 160k, she dosent have mutch of a deposit ( the polo is worth maybe £1k ) so £1500 £2k topps including the polo.

The rules:

NOTHING FRENCH, we have both had french cars company and own and ALL of them have been st.

needs to take 4 adults reasonably well

£150 per month or less

this is a tentative feeler thread as the polo still has loads of mot and should pass the next one ( due aug 2013 from memory )

I suspect there will be very little out there for this kind of money and probably nothing that she'll realy like.

however I said I'd try.

If its a lease your after then scrap the no french rule. It'll be warranted.

sorry no french rule stays its not the waranty thing its just the way they drive and feel.

We did test drive some newer french cars and they just felt merde even compared to a 160k polo

Compromise the "take 4 adults" bit, and get a Lupo GTI instead?

You should be able to get another polo for that kind of money, maybe not new but perhaps an 11 plate.

We have quite a few VW Dealers round here, battle them against each other!
