Obtaining a PCV operators licence (restricted)
Discussion
I use a minibus occasionally in conjunction with an outdoors business I run and hence need a PCV licence as payments are involved. As transport isn't the main business, I only need a restricted operators licence
Having read up on it, it seems it'll take 2 to 6 months to get, involves a lot of paperwork and a fee. The minibus will have a COIF and tacho and that's about it.
Anyone been through this process and got any pointers/advice?

At a guess, it would be a similar process to getting Cat C. You have to do a hazard perception if you've not done one before then the theory, then the practical.
There are plenty of driving schools that cater for them, they were doing their reversing at the same place I practised mine for my Cat C
