In January I bought the wife a really nice Caravelle Syncro for £7k. It was a quality bit of kit.

I sold it yesterday for £10k and with the profit, I bought a 40k 08 Picasso!

Most people will say the Picasso is a pile of p** but hey it only has to do the school run (when it's poor weather) and sit in Tesco's car park.

£3000 for an 08 car is a bargain in my book. No I know it's not a VW...

Me too! £3000 for that Picasso is a bargain though. They receive a lot of stigma on here but they're great for doing what they were designed for.

Wow,caravelles do go for insane cash,l know t4s are nice to drive but its a van with some seats n windows ffs!

Took a year 2000 baby blue caravelle in pxat work earlier this year, circa 100k,boggo grey cloth seats, awfull colour, manual and an inop turbo, got 4500 from a trader for it and i know he shifted it at a healthy profit before he put a price in the window!
Absolute abject lunacy!

Nice picasso by the way.

The Caravelle was a Syncro (4x4) model. I loved it to bits, but when I realise the "true" value, I'm happy to sell.

It was a 2000 X with 80K and FSH.
