Driving licence insurance-lets hear it.
Discussion
Are these any good?
Used to be that it was for totting up and not a ban for a singlke OTT speeding offence, but thats not the case now. It does say for "dis ualification for a speeding offence or disualification under the totting up procedure"
Exclusions apply for dnagerous driving and DD etc.

I'm sure there'd be some logic in just disqualifying anyone who applies for driving licence insurance.
Thanks for that. I see the governments campaign to brainwash people into their way of thinking is alive and well. For clarity, I dont want any smart arse "holier than thou" remarks.
I speed, quite frequently, although on the whole in "safer" areas and as yet no kids or kittens have died.
So, any useful reviews/info out there?

You are everything that is wrong with this country. A nanny state with old women like you who agree with it all.Just the other day I went past a camera van (wasnt speeding) and later relaised that not a single person going the other way warned me. A few yuears ago every driver would have given you a flash as a friendly warning, now everyone wants the "others" to get caught.
By the way, did you know that you are more likely to kill yourself on purpose than die in a car carsh?
Fool.

It's got very little to do with other people wanting you to get caught. It's more likely that it will be because the person coming the other way may be fined for 'misuse of headlights' http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/326000/Drivers...Just the other day I went past a camera van (wasnt speeding) and later relaised that not a single person going the other way warned me. I flash like a fool for miles. As any scamera van operator will tell you, it's a SAFETY issue, not a revenue issue, so if my flashing headlights slow people down, I'm one ahead on the safety issue and they can go home early. Not sure if its deliberate or not, but I've followed people for miles hogging the outside lane, not pulling in when there's been plenty of room and time, then, when we approach a speed camera they slow down and move to the inside lane.
I sometimes think they want me to speed through it.
Maybe its just the paranoia....

Good one.If you don't want a nanny state, why are you asking about insurance against your own stupidity and/or inattentiveness? If you want to break laws, man-up and take the consequences of punishment if you're caught.

I'd like to know what the hell OP is talking about anyway.
Is there genuinely insurance for "if I lose my driving license" ?
C
Yes there is, and it seems like big business. Is there genuinely insurance for "if I lose my driving license" ?
C
Whether they ever pay out is another matter of course.
And if you have the money, you can pretty much insure for any eventuality.
