Octavia vRS - Thoughts?

My head has been turned by a few of these. This one os local to me and I wondered what the obvious pitfalls were on them.

They're alright - it's mostly just a mk5 Golf GTi with less sound deadening and slightly differently set up suspension. Consequently they suffer from all the same common failures as the Golf and not really much else.


Make sure the air con works - the compressors are prone to failure.

Make sure the stability control isn't showing an error - the control module is prone to failure (check there no warning lights are on, then disable the ESP and make sure they come on).



That one is a particularly hideous colour, though.
