purchased the st couple weeks ago, car starts great and idles, but cant rev the engine it will rev slowly but not a rapid rev, snap on computer has read the fault codes, and no codes presant. any tips thanks

I am by no means a mechanic and I do not claim to be but recently my sisters Ford Focus developed a similar fault (no codes etc) it turned out to be the fuel pump.

The CAT collapsed on my 2002 Mondeo 2.0 (same engine as the Fiesta)
Same symptoms as you describe.
