The girlfriend is due to change her car. She is currently has a BMW 1 series convertible and loves it.

I can't think of another similarly priced 4 seat small convertible that would be better, any suggestions?

Budget £30kish and she does need 4 seats.

Also does anyone know if the 1 series convertible is due a face lift soon? Seems that the hatchback has been updated a bit but the convertible has not?

Cheers

Probably 18-24 months until the new convertible. If she loves it, keep it!

They're massive in comparison, not even remotely comparable.

Why get rid of a car you love? Makes no sense.

A3 TFSI? Not superbly quick but if you throw the picture under her nose she may find it appealing.
