Concept Cars of the past - which have been most influential?

Can anyone find examples and photos of concept cars which have gone on to influence the design of their manufacturers models or of cars in general? Concept cars are quickly forgotten once the motorshow leaves town so it would be good to take a retrospective view. Examples from the 70's, 80's and 90's would be of particular interest. Thanks

Citroen's concepts have a habit of entering production relatively unscathed after a few years of being hit with the engineer's reality stick.

Ford Probe III

I think porsche did a concept for the panamera about 20 years before it was released? Quite a long lead time! I can imagine the look of horror on the face of Cortina drivers when they were told that the Probe 3 was effectively the replacement!
