UK H2 Mobility tour
Discussion
Afternoon. Thought I'd post a few (poor camera phone) photos of the UK H2 Mobility tour promoting hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles. I caught up with it in Swindon just before they went to refuel at the Honda factory one junction up the M4. They'd come from Cardiff and were on their way to London. More information can be found here.
Most photos are of the Clarity because, quite frankly, it's the one that interested me the most. I recognise that the other vehicles are remarkable in their normality and will be good first-to-market, but the Clarity not being a current mainstream model captures my imagination a little more. I'm only just human!
I had a passenger ride in the Hyundai ix35 and it was, well, impressive. Incredibly smooth and punchy off the line, quick, actually. The only noise was road noise (not necessarily a good thing in many scenarios, but would be good for motorway commuters!). They'd covered between 400 and 500 miles each, so range is up to current standards. Anyway, to those photos that I promised...

Anybody tempted by a fuel cell powered future?
