GT40 spotted at work today (newcastle)

This came in our garage today, must admit we thought it was a kit car at first

Hmmm, I came here for nothing, as that's not a GT40 - it's a latter-day GT.

Still an expensive and relatively rare spot, but not quite as exciting as I hoped

It is not rare - I saw one in Derby today. It seems as though they are common as a Fiesta.

its rare up in the bonny north east, i had to HPI it as i was unsure of the provenance due to the panel gaps

I was expecting a GT40.

Yup, it is a great spot. I was pulling your leg, so to speak. I have only ever seen one. There are only 26 in the UK at launch - maybe less if some have been crashed.

I wish my car park at work had some form of exotica in it.

I also saw that one, saw it a couple of months back too near the little eaton roundabout. Its nice to know that the guy who owns it takes it out whenever possible.
