What EU regulations does Morgan etc. comply with?

Hey.

What I’m wondering about is what laws and regulations Morgan and similar car are allowed under? A old-fashioned Morgan can’t possible comply with the same standards a bog-standard Mondeo have to meet, so there needs to be some other regulation or exceptions in place (lets face, nothing is allowed in todays world without proper regulations regulating it). Are there exemptions for low-volume manufactures and various specials? And if yes, could anyone provide a link of showing what those exemptions are and what regulations that must be followed?
