I'm on the look out for a new car. To keep the pressure off, my plan is to take my time finding the right car, buy it, then sell my current car.

The only issue is that they will both need be insured concurrently. Any suggestions as to the best / most cost effective way of managing this?

At the moment I'm assuming ill transfer my existing ncb to the new car, and insure my current car on a monthly basis through a new policy with effectively no NCB.

Do I have the right end of the stick?

Thanks,

Phill

I had same issue twice previously this year. Speak to your insurer, mine was happy to oiver both cars for a relatively small premium and go weekly, fortnightly, monthly what ever I wanted and I even extended it twice.
