Wrong way around, but am I an idiot in ordering Avon ZZ3s?

Had I a brain I'd have asked a question very similar to this before actually ordering them, rather than ordering them and then creating this thread... but anyway in a few days I will be getting some Avon ZZ3s. I was looking for a tyre a couple of steps up from st, yet also rather cheap.

I can probably just about cancel them if this was a really bad idea. Would appreciate your thoughts? How do you like this tyre? Googling finds a lot of Audi TT owners who like them, which is an ambiguous sign...

I have them on the front of my xjr and I am really pleased with the grip and and absence of tram lining Better than the p zero Rosso that were on it before

I used them on my old subaru.

Gripped well enough, wear rate seemed a bit high though especially on the shoulder of the tyres.

But that just might have been down to me.

They are very good on the Z4M.
