Weston Beach Race?

I may have missed the thread, however I couldn't find one. I find it slightly puzzling that one of the largest gatherings of like minded individuals in the country on two and four wheels is taking place right now, and it's barely getting a mention?

I hope to go next year and ride in the two man on a quad. I'm sure they're allowing polaris razors tackle the course again this year like they did last.

Would love to hear from those that have done it, been to watch, got stories to tell. I get the impression it's where most blokes on two wheels go to have a mid-life crisis.

I had no idea the racing still existed - I take it we're talking about Weston-super-Mare (Weston-super-Mud as the locals call it) in the Wild Westcountry as opposed to Weston-sub-Edge or any other such place?

I assumed it had been abandoned long ago, together with speed record attempts on Pendine sands in South Wales.

Buying a CR250 next spring and will consider entering.
