Good piece of footage - he seems a very capable driver (from a laymans perspective) None of the overtakes were that outrageous, he kept his distance/ didn't tailgate (maybe a couple of the overtakes on the outside of corners were a little brash , but I think the other drivers were aware of his presence) - I must admit I wouldn't have the balls to do it with my own pride and joy!

Wasnt he in the wrong gear coming out of a few of the bends, sounded like he had to rush a down change.
Edited to add, i am in no way saying it was a bad lap, and am certainly not claiming that i could do better!

Very good lap. Some of the "outside of corner" overtakes might look a bit risky, but it's not like he was carving round those cars on the ragged edge and most of them indicated to show they had seen him.

The engine seemed strong, I now outright power is not the party trick of the Cayman R, but it didn't seem to struggle to build pace at all on the corner exits, really got it's power to the road with no fuss at all. According the Porsche buffs, it's an easier car to drive fast than the more powerful 911s, as the mid-engined layout is more forgiving at the limit than rear engined 911.
