Suprised by the looks of this

I just came across these and haven't even heard of this model but looks like it steps up the game for Vauxhall - could easily be confused with a BMW 6 Series or Volvo for the non petrol head if no badges.

You can see the Vauxhall gene in these but credit where credit due it's a fine looking filly for a non executive mainstream brand.

yes but it looks good and you don't exactly see a Mondeo/A6 convertible on the market(5 series left out due to 6 series )

That does look great, I'm an avid open top fan having had A4 & A5 cabs, saw the advert for this on the electronic hoardings at the Engalnd game yesterday and had to laugh at the ironic boast about how quick he roof opens/closes after the pitch flooding debacle

There's some info on Vauxhalls website, looks more Astra like from the front. 1.4T 1.6T and 2,0TDi from launch so not quite an A5 competitor.

Vauxhall are producing some really nice looking cars at the moment.
Still don`t, and never have, wanted one though.

Way, way better looking than the bloated BMW.

Already a thread in motoring news too. I'm no Vauxhall fan but this is very pretty and elegant, possibly because this genre of car tends to look rank in folding steel roof form.

I'd be happy to drive that and Ford have no answer and Audi and BMW aren't as good-looking.

That's just ruined it for me. I'd want a nice big NA engine in this not some screaming turbo engine from a Corsa. I won't even start on putting a diesel in a convertible.
