New things discovered in car

Anyone else had a car for ages and then randomly found out something new about it?

for example I was in my car,engine off listening to the radio,when the radio turned off and the dashboard said low energy mode as the battery had run down! didnt know it did that,

also took me 4 months to realise the rear window wiper came on if I selected reverse with the front wipers on!

I bought my Q7 used, on the 2nd day of ownership I was going through the menus and setting everything (there's a lot of options to set) and discovered it has a freeview TV.

It also switches everyhting off if the battery gets low so you can still start it.

I found out after nine months of ownership how to turn off the stereo in my L200 Barbarian pickup and after 12 months that i could turn the reversing camera on so that it appears in the sat nav screen while driving normally.

That rear wiper thing pisses me off - there's no manual override. So if the rain is falling at an angle and your back screen isn't wet, the wiper scrapes the glass. Dumb planning. Mine's VAG.

Yes, if you followed the link it was as if you were replying to a topic from within his profile. Quite a bug that.

Linked me to the mobile site, I'm using an iPad at home and it opened a new tab that said I was logged in as him, the link was just back to an old thread.

I started a thread from his account that I've since reported.

This bug cropped up a while ago, similar situation PHer posted a link to mobile site & we had access to post using his login.

Have told the mods about the Eggchaser post. Shaw Tarse's link allowed me to post as Eggchaser. I made it odd so I could find it again.
