Where do I stand - Car after an accident

So the insurance are repairing my Mazda, but my concern is that it will be obvious that its had a repair.
Brand new wheel and tire on one side, new light unit when the other side has discoloured slightly over time.
Where do I stand, as I know when I go to collect it that it will be obvious one corner has had a repair carried out.

I can't imagine an insurer would be willing to replace undamaged parts because they are slightly worn due to age.
If it bothers you that much, a wheel refurb can be had for £50-£100, new tyre can be fitted if the old one needs changing, or you can clean it if it's still got plenty of life. Dull headlight can be brought back to life with some cutting compound, fine sanding, and a bit of elbow grease.

When my previous car had a replacement rear bumper due to a non-fault accident, they used a new, generic rear number plate that didn't match the original dealer supplier front one.
I asked for a matching replacement from the original dealer and the insurance company was happy to pay for this. It then turned out the original dealer had changed their trading name so it still didn't match the front plate. I asked for a replacement front plate to match and they paid for it.
It cannot hurt to ask.

But if someone asked why is that light until new, how come it only has 1 new wheel and tire, why is the lower suspension new etc etc.
The car will be worth less in my eyes.

It was a non fault accident and I thought it would not be getting repaired. The estimator said it was in such good condition and it was a close call he authorised repair.
So I get my car back, knowing I will be selling in 3 months. Me knowing its been in a bump and I would be honest to anyone who asked then surely the car is worth a bit less.

It will be worth more then had it not been repaired.As an aside, how many cars for sale currently do you think have not had some sort of repair done on them! Price the car fairly and honestly and I doubt you will really have any issues.
I am not moaning or trying to be a knob,
I want to be honest when I come to sell the car, especially as it will have obvious signs of new parts on it.

The majority of cars out there have had some form of damage throughout their lives at somepoint, hell you would be amazed at the amount of brand new cars that have had damage before they get to the dealer.
