Tyre repair possible?

Unfortunately it might be too close to the edge, and it's a run-flat. And obviously only covered a hundred miles and an expensive tyre

Apologies but I suspect your fears are to be confirmed by the tyre repairer's chart o' death.

However that's not to say repair is impossible, and that maybe the right tyre man could be tempted to repair it.

Nope,to close to the edge for the mushroom plug to seal,just my opinion though a tyre repair fitter would be the one to ask.

That looks to be close to the limit in terms of the repairable area. However, two things count against you.

1. Runflat repairs are largely shunned so this will be a sticking point,
2. The angle of entry appears to be in excess of 15 degrees which negates a successful (and legal) repair, anyway.

I got a puncture a couple of weeks ago. Right at the edge of the tread, so not repairable. Tyre hadn't even done 100 miles.

The tyre itself wasn't expensive, but it also punctured the (also new) Michelin inner tube, plus more money for fitting etc. Also I scratched my paint when the jack handle slipped.
