Four dead in hit and run, Cardiff!

Words fail - though looks like they have someone - from BBC site 31-year-old man is in custody after a number of collisions in the Ely and Leckwith areas.
Browsing in a shop earlier today I overheard a girl crying on the phone saying " the van just drove straight at me". I just presumed her to be a needy student, new to the city. Then my friend text me to ask what was going on in Cardiff. I now realise he probably text me as I'm 31 and drive a white van. Lol.

Remember when you used to only get 1 phone call when you were arrested?

This probably won't be popular on PH but this maybe another manifestation of the levels of frustration that exist in the UK these days. This frustration often comes out as aggression on the roads as its easier to remain anonymous in a car i.e. you dont have to face people as you would if you acted like that walking down the footpath or in a supermarket. I put it down to the levels of overcrowding (on the roads and generally) and the ostentation/fixation with money that exists. I don't do a lot of miles but not a day goes by without me witnessing this frustration a number of times in the form of undertaking, tailgating, cutting up, queue jumping, inappropriate overtaking, racing around etc.
We've also got a problem with the 'I'm better than you because I've got more money' culture and again you see this on the road all the time. We've all seen some RR/X5 etc. jockeys ragging around and undertaking and clearly they have an inflated opinion of themselves but often if you dig a little deeper you find that they've inherited wealth or are directors of the family business.
