997 Carrera 4S Cab (06) - MAS 407

Hi everyone... I'm after a bit of detective help. I am thinking of buying a 997 C4S, and have found a great candidate absolutely loaded... BUT it has Ceramic Brakes and I am a little worried it might have spent a bit too long on the track...

Reg on the car was MAS 407 and it was recently traded via Audi...

Anyone know of or have experience of the car, it's basalt, black leather, PCCB, Chrono, PSE, 40k miles, FPSH.

Also has an extra service stamp - 4 instead of usual 3 for an 06(06)... Anyone got a view on why this might be and whether it's something to worry about?

Final question, Ceramics (front) look as though they may have been replaced recently, does this point to some hard use, I understand they should go on for a fair bit longer than 40k...

Take out a Porsche extended warranty, they plug them in to see how it's been used before offering one on a car so that might help, if its got good history and runs and drives ok whats not to like? , a perfect car not tracked could die a nasty death for no real reason.

Carl, thanks, yes I thought about the warranty route, as I know their 110 point check includes ECU analysis... Like you say not necessarily a deal breaker if tracked.

Might try Peter Morgan as well, either way a check of some sort maybe in order!
