Parking in London

Some help please chaps?

Am being forced to drive in to central London tonight to go for dinner with 'friends' any advise as to where I can park near charing cross road? I am driving home tonight so no need for over night parking, just between 1900 and 0000 I expect.

Plenty of options

Street parking charges finish at 18:30 in most areas near CCR.

Whitcomb St car park usually has spaces.

Or park outside very central London and get the tube in to avoid high car park charges maybe ?
