Hey everyone,

i'm a new poster here, been lurking on here for quite some time but never got around to signing up etc...

just thought i'd stick my head up and say hi!

I've been reading PH for years and rather enjoy flicking through the SOTW and the lounge and general gassing...

I also know a fellow PH'er (Baz) as we have a common interest in cars!

Currently, well over the last 6 years!, i have been a bit obsessed with VW scirocco's. I've got one at them moment (1991, fuel injected) but i am leaning (now i've hit my 30's) towards getting a barge! Really loving the cheap S type and XJ jags up on eBay at the moment!

Anyway thats enough rambling for now!

I couldnt use my normal user name of haddock_n_chips, the sign up thingy wouldnt let me!

No idea why i use haddock, it stems from many many years ago when i was still at school and has just stuck!

A car which i have now owned twice and the last acquisition cost me a mere £400!

also i work for the MG Owners club (booo! i hear you say, a british car?!) but i love it there and also love the MGB, not so keen on the modern stuff but a classic MGB is

i also did a charity event in my MGB (borrowed from work!) whereby we drove 6175 all the way around the baltic sea into 14 countries! (including a mental spell in Russia!) check out www.mgbaroundthesea.com

I still cant consider myself a real petrol head though as i've never owned an Alfa!
