Mercedes service response to a request re my C-Class

.....Emailed on Saturday afternoon requesting that Mercedes in the west country (won't be more specific) change collecting my car from Monday to the week after. The service gent had given me his personal email address to use out of hours as had said the date may be a problem.

Received the response below:

"so how can i know this email isnt for me if i comply with your instruction AT THE END of the email -The information in this email is confidential and may be legally privileged, unless stated to the contrary. If you are not the intended recipient, you must not read, use or disseminate that information "

Oh sh*t i already read it before i read that bit AS IT WAS THE END !!!

oh by the way - not my email - wrong address"


please note - any one reading this email before reading this owes me £100,000 - whoops ! too late - pay up !"


Am guessing he is referring to the footer in my email, the email address is correct, reply was at 10.30 last night and sadly it does not show on the forum, but he used comic sans as his font. Bet he is waking about now with a sore head thinking did I really do that??!!
