What windscreen washer fluid?

Ok this may sound uber-geeky but which windscreen washer fluid do you chaps use in the winter months?

I only ask as I had a washer bottle and pump fail on me a few years ago which I'm sure was due to the fluid freezing.

At the moment I just use Carplan or Morrisons concentrate around 1/8th dilution. Any recommendations?

Any old stuff that's cheap , never dilute it either so no problems with freezing ..

Indeed, the cheap stuff from Asda in 2l containers for about £3. Undiluted.

2 for £2 last time I went in!

I think undiluted it's effective to -5.

Stuff I bought at a service station on the M6 because I ran out half way. I had a full bottle in when I left and figured that would be enough. Silly me, it was summer time in England. Paid £15 (ish) for 5 litres so I'm damned if it's not going in the car

Morrisons own. £3 for 2.5 litres. Neat from October to march then water only. Had no problems even at -9.

Depends where you live tbh. I'm 'darn darf' so buying super Arctic effective to -20 screenwash seems a waste.

IME the Tesco or ASDA stuff (seems identical) is more than good enough for my use and cheap especially when on offer.

Edit to add - Tesco also do a 'high performance' (pink) screen wash that is effective to -9 iirc.

I just use the Tesco own-brand stuff. It doesn't freeze and it shifts dirt. It's not a necessity like engine oil, I don't see the point buying some expensive "quality" stuff.

Halfords pink, usually on 2 for 1.

Try and get something that kills bacteria and scum that will grow in the tank and block the filters and jets.

Apart from that, anything that smells of vodka or apples.

official BMW stuff. it's so concentrated (neat it'll freeze at something like -65degC so it actually works out cheaper than the stuff from halfords when you dilute it to -15 to -20deg or so! it smells quite nice too

i also have gtechniq G1 on the windscreen so very little need to use washer fluid, in summer months i just use deionised water as the coating means stuff is much easier to shift than normal. would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.
