Peugeot 206

Hi i was wondering if someone could help me out, I have a peugeot 206 and ever since i purchased it when stationery it dips and i have to put foot on throttle for it to tick over nicely. I recently had it serviced and the mechanic took off the oil piston, the car then ticked over nicely and didnt dip. The mechanic said i needed a new oil piston as the old one was blocked. I replaced it but still hasnt made any difference. But again when i take off the piston it ticks over great. It sounds like air is getting in somewhere too when car is stationery and i put foot on throttle. Any advice would be great. From a lady with no clue!!!!

Think i got that wrong !!! it was the oil vapour hose!!!! Getting confused

is it fuel injection? sounds like air flow or air metering problem?

The map sensor will require a clean out and the stepper motor values resetting.

Should do the trick.

yep, sounds like knackered afm - either from a leak or the afm itself being knacked.

Tu engine? I'd look at the idle control valve.
