help me please!!

Hi all,
Last night I changed the front wishbone rear console bushes on my Fabia vrs, because they were well and truly knackered, it had been knocking quite alot, job done! Happy days! Took for a drive afterwards, still knocking noises when going over bumps, like a juddering noise, also when accelerating take foot off pedal 'knock' with very slight jerk, any one able to point me in the right direction??

I'm no mechanic but I do know console bushes are quite a common wear and tear item on Fabias.

Yes I changed them last night thinking that was the 'only' problem, seems like there's more to it though!

My sisters 2002 52 Ibiza roll bar bushes wore and led to knocking noises?

Have you tried changing the console bushes?

I changed the console bushes last night, they were in a bad way, so I thought that was the problem, had a look at the arb bushes whilst doing the job, didn't look worn, I heard possibly the dogbone mount on the gearbox? For the accelerating and releasing accelerator problem...? I think there is still more than one problem!

Sorry mate, I feel guilty now, I was just taking the p155 as the 2nd poster mentioned them after you said you'd done then.

I hope you get to the bottom of it.

My Corrado VR6 made rocking noises when accelerating decelerating, turned out to be an engine mount?

Haha, using early morning mongery against me! , still half asleep, took me 7 hours to change them, snapped 4 sockets, a ratchet and a spanner in the process, what a st job..
