Getting even without seeming petty

I am 'lucky enough' to be in a fairly high position within the company that I work and by lucky I mean that I work ridiculously long hours and never get thanked or paid enough for it.

One of the perks I get is my own parking space outside our office.

I met with a client this morning and arrived at the office at around 9am, where I saw a 'colleagues' Insignia Sports Tourer (WTF) parked in my fking space.

A fking Insignia Sports Tourer in my parking space, he's barely a fking tea boy.

I commented that he had a puncture and he just smiled at me.

I therefore plan, not to get mad, but to get even and would welcome any suggestions please...

This. If it's "your space" and you'd say something about it to me, I'd tell you to put down a number plate sign or tell you to try to arrive at work in time.

If it's clearly marked as your space however, I'd tell him to go and move his car.

Is it his own car in your space, ie not a company car?

If it's a company car there must be spare keys around somewhere, move it where he won't find it? Even change or cover the number plate if your feeling particularly mean.

Starting this thread asking for pussy, non-petty revenge methods is pretty petty IMO. Certainly not the behaviour of a self confessed senior within the company.

Either discipline him officially or shut up and take it.

By the way it's not an Insignia Sports Tourer - call it a Vectra Estate, that'll wind him up.
